We recently discovered an interdunal carbonate deposit with gastropod
fossils in the Glen Canyon Group near Dinosaur National Monument. These
are fairly small (~ 1cm tall) high spired gastropods, preserved as
natural molds. Various literature searches have failed to turn up much
about Glen Canyon (or Navajo Sandstone) invertebrates and nothing about
gastropods in this unit.

If there is anyone out there who might know of a relevant publication or
might be able to provide an identification, please contact me.
