Binds a small Mississippian mound, but what is it?

Subject: Paleonet: IGCP 591 closing meeting announcement (Ghent, Belgium)

Hi all,

the IGCP 591 project “The early to middle Palaeozoic revolution (www.igcp591.org<http://www.igcp591.org>)" is in its final year, and our closing meeting will be in Ghent (Belgium), 6-9 July 2016. The theme of the meeting is “a combined data-model approach to understand the early to middle Palaeozoic revolution”. It will be a joint meeting with the sub-commissions on Cambrian-Ordovician-Silurian-Devonian stratigraphy and will host a pre-meeting short course on numerical climate modelling (convened by Y. Donnadieu) as well as mid-meeting workshops on numerical stratigraphy (by P. Sadler) and astrochronology (by S. Meyers). The post-meeting field trip will examine the lower to middle Palaeozoic of SW Wales (led by M. Williams).

Additional information about the programme (including confirmed keynote speakers) and registration is available on http://www.igcp591.ugent.be

Early registration (at reduced fees) ends on March 16th (i.e., next week).
Abstracts are due by April 15th.

Best wishes

Thijs Vandenbroucke
