Cleevely states that the “greater part" of the Banks collection went to BMNH with some given to Owens College, Manchester Museum, so remainder should be at Ludlow.

Dear All,
I've been asked by the archivist at Hergest Croft (Kington, Herefordshire, UK) about where the fossil material of R. W. Banks ended up. Most of it is in the Banks Collection at Hergest, which she looks after... but there are also possible reports of some going elsewhere, like Ludlow or Birmingham. Does anyone have a copy of Cleevely's World Palaeontological Collections handy, and see if anything is listed there? Or, by chance, knows of some material that he donated elsewhere?
    Many thanks,
Joe
