Hi Michael,
We are collecting some synonymy data on planktic forams at:
Http://taxonconcept.stratigraphy.net <http://taxonconcept.stratigraphy.net/>
A search for nepenthes gave as most recent publication (we have)
Chaisson,W.P. and d'Hondt,S.L. (2000):
Neogene planktonic foraminifer biostratigraphy at Site 999, Western
Caribbean Sea.
In: Proceedings of the Ocean Drilling Program, Scientific Results Vol. 165
Eds: Leckie, R.M.Sigurdsson, H.Acton, G.D.Draper, G. p. 19-56
Who uses Globoturborotalita as genus name..
Best regards,
Robert

Betreff: Paleonet: Globoturborotalita?
Hello Planktonic foram people!
I want one or more expert opinion(s).
I'm trying to include the most up to date nomanclature on my upcoming
publication.
I want the best current generic assignment for the creature formerly known
as Globigerina nepenthes.
I have two candidates Zeaglobigerina and Globoturborotalita.
An unpronouncable symbol would be acceptable as what we have here is pretty
close anyway.
Which one should I use, and why?
Thanks!
