Dear all,
Please see link below to the Houston Geologic Society's webpage. Of particular interest to paleonetters interested in this trip are the inoceramids and ammonites associated with the Coniacian/Turonian/Cenomanian/Santonion Stage Boundaries within the Boquillas Formation and Pen Formations. Some collecting opportunities will be available. Also, the Cribratina texans and other large forams and macrofossils in the Del Rio Clay as exposed along Highway 90 (where we will make several stops). This is, essentially, a recreation of the field trip that we led for the GSA Annual Convention with the addition of a visit to the Davis Mountains and McDonald Observatory. If you are interested in more information pleae email me. Registration is via the HGS website. Full refunds will be provided should the trip have to be cancelled. Cheers,
