Paleontological Research: Invitation for submissions
"Paleontological Research" is an official journal of the Palaeontological
Society of Japan, has been listed as one of the "Web of Science" journals
since 2008, and is published quarterly in English. The journal encompasses
a wide variety of paleontological topics on modern and ancient organisms
including evolution, extinction, taxonomy, systematics, biostratigraphy,
paleoecology, paleobiogeography, paleoenvironmental reconstruction,
geobiology and biogeochemical cycles. It publishes review papers in
addition to original articles and short reports, and is known for the high
quality of reproduction of the figures in its printed version. Some issues
are devoted to a single topic of special current importance. As the
successor to "Transactrions and Proceedings of the Palaeontological Society
of Japan," the journal continues a long tradition of publicizing fossil
faunas and floras not only from Asia but also from all over the world.
