Hear hear re. Norm's efforts!

I agree with David that for the most part these inadvertent messages are 
more distressing to the sender (and sometimes the target of some candid 
comments!) than to the rest of the list.

Further, in my view it's quite self-policing; the more distressed a 
sender of such messages is, the less likely he/she is to do it again.
