The Department of Geology at University of Otago, New Zealand 
(www.otago.ac.nz/geology), seeks applicants from any field of 
geosciences for two confirmation-path [tenure track] positions as 
Lecturer in Geology. Closing date 1 Nov 2010. We expect the positions 
to appeal particularly to early-career scientists who are active 
researchers with publications that show potential for a stellar 
career in teaching and research. We expect applications from people 
with wide backgrounds in the earth sciences - including paleontology,
