Paleonet: High Resolution Laser Scanner

We are considering purchasing a high resolution laser scanner to make digital models of some of our type and figured fossils available as downloads from our online palaeontological database - http://www.bgs.ac.uk/palaeosaurus/home.cfm  . Does anyone have experience of suitable systems?
