Job just posted in Ireland that would be eminently suitable for a vertebrate palaeontologist or, indeed, a paleontologist. I don't know the closing date, but UCD aim to appoint for a September 2011 start.

University College Dublin is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Vertebrate  Biology in the UCD School of Biology & Environmental Science. We  are seeking candidates with a particular expertise in herpetology or  ornithology. Their interests should lie in the area of  evolution/evolutionary ecology and preferably have experience with  vertebrate morphology.

Candidates should have a PhD in an  appropriate discipline and will be expected to provide teaching of  vertebrate biology to undergraduates primarily in the Zoology programme  and to more general graduate programmes.
