Dear Jon, (with apologies to all fellow PaleoNet-ters)
I would much prefer to have debate out in the open, on the Internet,
where everyone can have their say and everything is recorded for
prosperity (~ archived) BUT since PaleoNet subscribers may not have
necessarily subscribed to hear us argue the tiniest details of data
archiving, I shall refrain from making any more comment on this issue
here.
(However, if anyone else wants to express their opinions on this matter,
as always I encourage this.)
I'm not entirely sure what benefit a verbal debate in Bristol will have,
for either of us, or the wider-community, but if I have time, I'll try
and be there for it.
Warm regards,
Ross
