Dear PaleoNetters,
The NAPC conference brings together researchers of various fields and provides an opportunity to present ongoing research to an interdisciplinary international audience. Among the many sessions organized as part of the 10th North American Paleontological Convention (NAPC), we would like to draw your attention to the following one:
Stratigraphic Paleobiology: Integrating sedimentary and fossil records.
The analysis of paleobiological data within their sedimentary context reveals a wealth of information for recognizing the driving factors that shaped the rock and fossil records. This session will explore how integrated paleobiostratigraphic investigations of the geologic record can enhance the understanding of sedimentary succession architecture and past and future biotic trends. Case studies elucidating advantages of integrated analyses on section to basin scale are particularly welcomed.
For this session, invited contributions will be given by Mark E. Patzkowsky (Penn State University, USA) and Steven M. Holland (The University of Georgia, USA).
Please remember that abstracts for oral and poster presentations can be submitted until the 20th of September; for abstract submission, registration, and

If you know of anyone who might be interested and not receiving this notice, please pass it along.
We look forward to your participation.
