Paleonet: Emergence of Life Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is offering a MOOC (Massive
Open Online Course) on the Emergence of Life.  This is an 8-week  course
that starts July 14th and will focus on how life emerged on Earth and the
key geological events that shaped life through time.  This course will also
look at the possibility of life on other planets and how NASA is looking
for life in the cosmos.  This is a great course for anyone interested in
Paleobiology, Geology, Evolution, or Astrobiology.  Please encourage
students, friends, and colleagues to check the course out!
