Paleonet: New Epoch name convention?

Dear Jill,

This is incorrect. The ICS chart shows these as upper case.

There is a proposal submitted to formally define sub-epochs in the Cenozoic. Right now they are informal (e.g. lower Miocene) although people often do captialize them.
