Dear colleagues,

Final chance (Deadline: 1.6.2016) to submit an abstract to our session at
the 87th Annual Conference of the Paläontologische Gesellschaft in Dresden
(11 - 15th of September 2016; more information here:
http://www.palges.de/fileadmin/pdf/Tagung_2016/2._Zirkular.pdf)

Session S3: Symbiosis, sociality and predation: biotic interactions through
deep time

Kenneth De Baets (Erlangen) & Joachim Haug (Munich)

Biotic interactions such as mutualism, parasitism, sociality or predation
are important ecological processes which influence the survival and fitness
of organisms and functioning of entire ecosystems. Only the fossil record
combined with innovative approaches, can provide direct evidence for biotic
interactions in deep time and their impact on long-term evolution.

We invited Jean Vannier (Lyon) and Lee Hsiang Liow (Oslo) as keynote
speakers.

Best regards,

Kenneth De Baets
