Two research positions in palaeontology at University College Cork



Applications are sought for two research positions in palaeontology at University College Cork:

1 - a four-year PhD project 'The evolution, taphonomy and colour of fossil feathers'

2 - a three-year postdoctoral research project 'The evolution and taphonomy of scales and 3D photonic crystals in insects'.



The closing date for applications is the 30th November 2016. Both projects are to start in January 2017 (but there is some flexibility). The successful candidate will join a vibrant team of researchers working on the evolution and taphonomy of colour in animals led by Dr Maria McNamara.
