Dear PaleoNetters,
Save the date!
This year's Summer Symposium at the Paleontological Research Institution
(PRI) in Ithaca, New York will be held on Saturday, July 29th. The Summer
Symposium is a small, relatively informal event held in late summer each
year. We will have opportunities for both oral and poster presentations by
both professionals and students. Information on abstract submission will be
coming soon. This year's keynote talk titled "The twisted world of
ammonites" will be given by Neil Landman of the American Museum of Natural
History. A field trip exploring local Devonian geology led by Carl Brett
will take place on Sunday July 30th.
Thank you and we hope to see you this summer at PRI!
