Just brief reminder.

The PaleoNet Listserver and web pages are in the process of migrating from servers of The Natural History Museum to the servers of the Palaeontological Association. During this migration the mailing list will be offline from 24 January to 25 (possibly 26) January while the relevant files are copied, put up, taken down, and tested. A notification e-mail will be sent to all subscribers before the list is taken offline on the 24th and a "Welcome Back" e-mail will be sent to all subscribers once the list comes back online. Subscribers should ignore any and all postings they might receive from PaleoNet between the receipt of these two notifications. Of course, subscribers should also refrain from posting anything to PaleoNet during this interval. Up-to-date information about the progress of the migration will be posted on the PaleoNet website as progress is made. I’ve uploaded the revised PaleoNet web pages to the PalAss server and those are now available at:

If anyone has any questions or concerns regarding the migration they should contact me at N.MacLeod at or N.MacLeod9 at

Thank you for bearing with us and for your continued support of PaleoNet.

With kind regards and best wishes for the weekend.

Norm MacLeod
