Paleonet: Advanced course Geometric Morphometrics in R, Calgary, week before SVP meeting

Dear colleagues,

 

The fourth edition of the course "Geometrics Morphometrics in R" will be offered in Calgary (Canada), just the week before than the SVP meeting. Indeed, SVP members have a 20 % discount on the course fee.

 

Instructor: Dr. Julien Claude (Institut des Sciences de l'Évolution de Montpellier, France).

 

Dates: August 14th-18th, 2017. 

During this course different R packages will be used, including geomorph, Morpho, shapes and Momocs, as well as specific code written by the instructor included in his book "Morphometrics with R". 

 

This is not an introductory course, therefore basic knowledge of Multivariate Statistics, R and Geometric Morphometric is recommended in order to take it.
