Paleonet: Accepting nominations for PRI's Katherine Palmer Award

Dear Colleagues,


Each year, the Paleontological Research Institution (PRI) recognizes an
individual who is not a professional paleontologist for the excellence of
their contributions to the field. This award is named for PRI's second
Director, Katherine Palmer, who was an avid supporter of avocational
paleontology. This year's award will be presented at the 2018 Fossil Expo
of the Mid-America Paleontology Society (http://midamericapaleo.org/).


Please consider nominating an avocational paleontologist for this award by
emailing a 1-2 page letter of support (with subject line "Katherine Palmer
Award") to:
