Dear Colleagues,
Are you using 3D printing or other 3D toolkits for innovative experimental paleontological purposes? Check out our topical session at the 2018 GSA Annual Meeting in Indianapolis (Nov 4th - 7th): T132. Applications of 3D Printing and Other 3D Methods to Experimental Paleontology. Abstracts due August 14!
.
This session will highlight innovative experimental techniques for modeling and testing the morphologies and functions of ancient species and their modern analogues. Emerging experimental methods, particularly those involving 3D printing and other 3D toolkits, will be showcased, as well as novel results about fossil life that these methods have produced. We encourage colleagues who are using these techniques to explore any taxonomic group in any time period to participate.
Please consider submitting an abstract to our session and pass on this opportunity to anyone who might be interested. We look forward seeing you in Indianapolis!

-Erynn Johnson, Aja Carter, and Lauren Sallan
Thank you to our session sponsors: The Paleontological Society, the Cushman Foundation and the Paleontological Research Institution!
