Hi Roy: Your request made me wonder where my copy of this book went in my
recent moves. I found it, a first edition (1934) signed by Simpson (I
either missed that when I bought the book or forgot it). Your quotation is
on p. 83, the last page of Chapter 4. I have, someplace, a paperback of
this book too, so other editions/prinitingd are out there as well.
