Paleonet: Jurassic samaras (helicopter seeds)

I can't say that about the Jurassic, but I recently collected fossil plants
with students at the Carboniferous site called Writhlington outside of
Bath, UK. I learned that some seed plants at this time also evolved this
strategy.
