Paleonet: Hoshizuna-no-Hama - Japanese 'star-sand' foram papers?

Dear Paleonetters,

Does anyone know of any papers concerned specifically with the Japanese
star-sand foraminifera?  I've only been able to find blogs/travel articles
etc. online.

A couple do mention the two main taxa (*B. sphaerulata* and *C. spengleri*),
but I wondered if there were any articles etc. that might discuss the sands
more scientifically.
