Paleonet: Student opportunity: Analytical Paleobiology Summer School in Erlangen, Germany

Dear Paleo Students,
If you are PhD or advanced master student in Paleobiology or a
related field, please apply to the Analytical Paleobiology Summer
School in Erlangen (August 22 - September 9)! We provide knowledge
of quantitative methods in paleobiology including community-level
and global scale diversity dynamics (Wolfgang Kiessling, Lee
Hsiang Liow, Emma Dunne and Adam Kocsis), species distribution
modelling (Erin Saupe), geometric morphometrics (Manuel Weinkauf)
and phylogenetics (Rachel Warnock). A maximum of twelve students
will be accepted for the in-person course to ensure optimal
learning. Participation is free and accommodation costs will be
covered by the Paleosynthesis project.
