PaleoNet: Alf Award for Paleontological Research & Education - nominations due in ONE week!

Dear all,

A reminder that nominations for the *Raymond M. Alf Award for Excellence in
Paleontological Research and Education* are due in one week, by *April 15*.

The Alf Award honors a paleontologist who exhibits excellence in original
scientific research as well as in education and outreach at the primary and
secondary school (K-12) levels.

The award consists of:

   1. Honorarium of $1,000;
   2. Award plaque; and
   3. All travel costs for the recipient to receive the award in person at
   the Museum’s annual Peccary Dinner on October 18, 2024.

Nominations comprise a paragraph explaining how the candidate fits the
award criteria, and the candidate’s CV / resume. Self-nominations are
accepted.
