Hello paleonet community,
The Earth Science Women’s Network (ESWN) has an exciting opportunity for
ESWN students and early career scientists!
We have partnered with Nature Reviews Earth and Environment
<https://www.nature.com/natrevearthenviron/> (NREE) to put together a
special ESWN collection of NREE Tools of the Trade
<https://www.nature.com/natrevearthenviron/articles?type=tools-of-the-trade>
(TotT) articles.
TotT articles are brief articles that describe techniques used for
geoscience research, and are exclusively to highlight the work of masters,
PhD, or early postdoctoral researchers. TotT was developed both as a
mechanism to highlight amazing work being done by students and early career
postgraduate scientists and to help folks from these career stages gain
insight into the publishing process. We sincerely hope this opportunity
helps to further the career goals of those in the most early stages of
their career in our community.
NREE has put together a form to collect TotT proposals for the ESWN
collection. The proposal submission form, which includes more details and
several examples of previous TotT articles, is here

.
As a reminder, ESWN is free and open to all, and you can join ESWN here:
https://eswnonline.org/getinvolved/join/ .
Submissions are strongly encouraged from those with marginalised identities
and from low- and middle-income countries.
If you have any questions relating to the partnership between ESWN and
NREE, please contact Mimi Abel (mimi.abel at noaa.gov). For technical
questions related to submission please contact NREE directly (
nree at nature.com).
We look forward to seeing your submissions!
