Dear all,

Applications are now open to the University College London (UCL) Earth Sciences PhD scholarship for underrepresented groups (fully funded).

The study of past life in the Department of Earth Sciences at UCL ranges from the smallest and most abundant fossils (such as microscopic plankton and forams) to the largest animals ever to walk on land, the gigantic sauropod dinosaurs, and includes the search for Earth’s oldest organisms and the origins of animals.

Further information on research groups and potential supervisors in the department can be found at: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/earth-sciences/research/research-groups/palaeontology.

If you are eligible and interested in corals, marine biodiversity, macroecology, and/or conservation palaeobiology, please get in contact.

See more information and eligibility criteria here: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/earth-sciences/news/2024/oct/ucl-earth-sciences-phd-scholarship.

All the best,

Lewis
